Garden of Gethsemane Table
| This piece took several hundred hours to build, which
isn't surprising considering each branch is 360 degrees handbarked, then bent and placed
for aesthetic value. Hidden in the branches are crystal angels watching the steel Christ pray. St. Peter and the two sons of Zebedee (not shown) who slept as Jesus prayed are carved from basswood..a weaker medium...appropriate don't you think? |
